Happy 90th birthday, to one of the world's most beloved icons of children's literature, Winnie-the-Pooh!

Return to the Hundred Acre Wood in A.A. Milne’s second collection of Pooh stories, The House at Pooh Corner. Here you will rediscover all the characters you met in Winnie-the-Pooh: Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Owl, Piglet, Kanga, tiny Roo, and, of course, Pooh himself. Joining them is the thoroughly bouncy and lovable Tigger, who leads the rest into unforgettable adventures.

Since 1926, Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends have endured as the unforgettable creations of A.A. Milne, who wrote these stories for his son, Christopher Robin, and Ernest H. Shepard, who lovingly gave Pooh and his companions shape.

These characters and their stories are timeless treasures of childhood that continue to speak to all of us with the kind of freshness and heart that distinguishes true storytelling.

The adventures of Christopher Robin, Winnie-the-Pooh, and all their friends in the storied Forest around Pooh Corner. "This is an example of a sequel in which there seems to be no letdown, and from all sides I catch echoes of most joyous reaction to it." --- New York Herald Tribune, 1928

Fine jewelry is designed to become a treasured family heirloom if it is cared for and stored properly. Daily wear and tear takes a toll on the beauty of your jewelry over time. Professional cleanings are recommended as often as once a year. We would love for you to bring your Penny James jewelry back to us for professional servicing but understand that this may not be possible.  So, we are providing you with some tips to keep your jewelry collection looking its very best!

Your jewelry should always be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off!  Put on your jewelry after all of your lotions, cosmetics and perfumes have been applied.  All of these items will quickly dull the surface of your jewelry.

~ Do not wear your jewelry in pools or hot tubs.  Chlorine and similar chemicals can do irreparable damage to jewelry.
~ Do not shower with your jewelry on.  Showers and baths are especially damaging to pearl jewelry.
~ Do not sleep in your jewelry.  Chains can get kinked or pulled.  Prongs and settings can get damaged.

Also know that household cleaners such as bleach and abrasives are very damaging to jewelry.
Never, never, never soak your jewelry.  Cleaners are harsh and can do irreparable damage if not used correctly.

“Make like a jellyfish and go with the flow”

The arrival of the jellyfish each year marks the beginning of summer, the most carefree time of the year.  Beautiful and flowing just like the creatures that inspired them, our jellyfish are true works of art.  The hand sculpted tentacles on the pendant move freely to mimic the graceful movements of a free floating jellyfish.

ABOUT MY LITTLE BOOK OF BIG QUESTIONS

In this profound and empathetic look at the questions children wonder about, Britta Teckentrup beautifully illustrates life’s mysteries.

What will my life be like? Will I be happy? Will I ever be able to reach the stars? There are no answers to these questions, but in this eloquent picture book Britta Teckentrup lets children know that they are not alone in asking them and gives parents an opportunity to start a conversation with their children about the questions that come up in their lives. A young girl stands on a chair to see what it’s like to be tall. A boy stares towards the sky and wonders if birds enjoy flying. Friends argue, lovers embrace, the distant sun warms the earth, and people grow old. Using soft hues, bold outlines, and unusual textures, Teckentrup’s illustrations help evoke the feelings surrounding each question. As they flip through the pages children and their parents will find endless opportunities to think about life’s big questions and to have conversations that will be remembered for years.
